TIME FOR ANOTHER UPDATE!!
Greetings to everyone and I hope all are doing well or just hanging in there! Our next regular meeting is Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The meeting will be at the Polo Sierra LULAC Hall located at 100 Alice Street here in Silver City. Meeting is slated to start at 5:30 p. m.

We may have a special guest who i invited to our meeting in Ray Goellner, President of the Rotary Club. I was honored to speak at one of their meetings last month to introduce LULAC and speak on our projects. I thoroughly enjoyed attending the meeting! I met some real nice people! I invited him to our meeting! I am hoping he make it to this meeting and if not, our September meeting!
Last night or Saturday, August 9, 2025, I attended and participated in the Copper Country Senior Olympics Banquet at the Convention Center. Our guest speaker was none other than Lt. Governor Dr. Howie Morales! He presented a very motivational type talk. Members: Fred Baca, Manuela Jenkins, Lynn Baca, Fermin Lopez and Bea McKinney came gave support. Special guests were members of the Dona Ana Senior Olympics Organization. It was my honor to introduce him!

Report from other member who belong to other organizations who would like to update us as to what their organizations are doing. Silver City Museum, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Bayard Public Library, WILL program and any others.
National LULAC Convention (Long Beach, California) This past week Assistance on helping build a LULAC Council 8003 table for the State Convention. Ideas, pictures items where we can let others know what our Council is doing and who we are!
I am sure there will be other items brought up at the meeting also. Next meeting date is scheduled for the second Tuesday of September. September9, 2025.
